FMECA and SLA at GVB Bus

At the beginning of 2020, Verebus received a commission from GVB Bus to conduct an FMECA on the zero-emission buses. The main objective was to evaluate the maintenance documentation provided by the bus supplier and, if possible, optimise the maintenance concept.
By means of a Quick FMECA, we differentiated between the critical and non-critical components of the bus. Verebus then facilitated the critical components through an FMECA and the non-critical components through a QMA. To conclude, both analyses were reinforced with the subsequent steps of RCM and MTA.
Thanks to the cooperation of GVB and the supplier during these sessions, the project was successful, and significant savings could be achieved over the fleet's lifecycle.
In addition to this project, Verebus provided support in drafting an SLA for the charging station for the buses, which was submitted in collaboration with the quality, maintenance, and contract departments of GVB Bus.
