Verebus Academy
The Verebus Academy focusses on training for optimal use and maintenance of capital-intensive assets, and for the development of (associated) technical documentation. With our courses on the subjects of ILS, S-series specifications, technical writing and reliability-centred maintenance, we cover the entire life cycle. From the development of a system, to the disposal.
The goal of ILS is to use and maintain any complex system or asset, during its entire lifespan at the lowest cost. Although most of these methodologies were developed for the procurement, design and maintenance of Defence equipment, they have since proven their usefulness in many other industries, such as the aircraft and automobile industry. And they can be beneficial for all disciplines where complex and expensive systems are used.
Participants in our courses are:
- Employees who are responsible for the deployability of capital-intensive assets at organisations such as: Defence, Rijkswaterstaat, public transport, wind parks, solar farms, hospitals, etc.
- (Chief) mechanical engineers

General information
Prerequisites
In our introductory trainings, we cover the basics. Therefore, there is no prior knowledge required. In the follow-up trainings and advanced courses, we focus on the basic subjects in more detail. For advanced courses, our advice is that the associated introductory training has already been completed. We always strive to plan the different trainings within one subject in successive weeks, so that it is possible to complete the entire course in a short period. For all our training activities, we assume that participants have at least a hbo working and thinking level.
