Verebus

Our mission is to create an efficient, easy and safe operation and maintenance system for our customers.

  • The right (dynamic) maintenance plans are efficient in cost and time. In most cases, Verebus can save significant costs while increasing the reliability of your assets.

  • A good maintenance system is documented and our technical authors write easy to understand maintenance instructions.

  • With clear and logical instructions with the right information at the right time, Verebus creates a safe operational environment.

A little bit of history...

Verebus has a long history. More than 75 years ago, we were founded at the request of the Royal Navy. Since then, we have provided designs, drawings and documentation for electrical installations of naval and commercial ships, land and industrial installations and aircraft. Although we do so for many different clients, the navy is still one of our main clients.

To share all the knowledge Verebus has gained over the years we established the Verebus Academy. Anyone, from beginner to advanced, can attend one of the courses or training sessions in the field of ILS, technical documentation and ASD S-series specifications.

At the end of the 20th century, Verebus enters the infrastructure market. As a recognised engineering company in the field of train safety, Verebus is at that time involved in several projects for ProRail. Partly due to these rail activities, Verebus becomes part of TÜV NORD GROUP in 2007. In 2018, the rail division is sold to RoyalHaskoning DHV.

In the 2010s, the focus is increasingly on integrated logistics support (ILS) and related services, such as technical documentation. This makes Verebus an important partner for the defence industry, both with suppliers and the ministry of Defence itself. Verebus employees also work outside defence as project managers and asset managers on technically-complex projects in the field of lifecycle management. For example, in public transport, the maritime market and the energy sector.
